The Director General National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami) has pledged NITDA’s full support for IT companies willing to visit, reside and operate fully in the country.
The DG made this known when a delegation from Singaporean Government paid a courtesy visit to the Agency Corporate Headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking further Dr Pantami said NITDA would give full support to collaboration that can promote technology transfer between both countries.
“Nigeria is a country with an approximate population of 180million people,60% of those population are within the digital age bracket",he added.
Mr Lan Lee, leader of the delegation earlier, revealed that the main aim of the visit was to foster IT trade between Nigeria and Singapore.
Lee also urged Nigerians to take full advantage of the scholarship programs provided by the Singapore government.
